I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”

Philippians 1:3–5

Your partnership in the gospel, from the very beginning until now, continues to remind us of God’s faithfulness and provision. Time and again, He provides—and He provides through you.

At the Jeannette Lake Camping Association and Camp Oshkidee, we remain firmly committed to building up the Church by strengthening families. In a world where traditional values and the foundation of Christian family life are under increasing pressure, your support has helped us stand strong. Jesus assured us in Matthew 16:18, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." And we believe that one of the most powerful ways to take part in that promise is by nurturing faith-filled families—the cornerstone of a strong Church.

Today, we are witnessing a cultural shift that challenges those very foundations. This is more than a social struggle—it’s a spiritual battle. As Jesus warned in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.”
That’s why we remain committed to creating a Christ-centered, family-focused environment where families can reconnect, grow deeper in their faith, and be equipped to stand firm.

Through your prayers and support, families are being strengthened, children are encountering Christ, and future generations are being raised up as faithful members of the Church. Strong families build a strong Church—and strong churches build God’s Kingdom.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us through a one-time gift or recurring monthly donation?
Your generosity—whatever the amount—has a direct impact. It helps us continue providing a place where families grow in faith, reconnect with one another, and stand strong in today’s world.

  • $42,000.00

The decision was made to purchase a skid steer as a strategic investment in the ongoing care and development of Camp Oshkidee. This highly versatile piece of equipment provides the flexibility required to carry out a wide range of property maintenance and improvement tasks across the entire site. Its capabilities will significantly enhance our ability to respond to seasonal demands, improve site accessibility, and ensure the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of the camp. This investment represents a key step in supporting both current operations and long-term growth.

  • $5,000.00

Following the recent purchase of our skid steer, we have identified the need for a compatible snowblower attachment. This equipment is essential to ensure our site and facilities remain accessible during the winter season. The road leading into Camp Oshkidee is not maintained by the provincial park, and without the ability to clear snow effectively, access becomes limited for staff, guests, and lease groups. Reliable snow removal is critical to the success of our winter programming and overall site operations.

  • $5,000.00 EACH

To better protect and preserve our equipment during the off-season, we are seeking to purchase sea can storage containers. Currently, the majority of our equipment is stored in an open lot on the property, leaving it exposed to weather, theft, and unnecessary wear. Securing adequate, weather-resistant storage is essential to prolong the life of our tools and machinery, reduce repair and replacement costs, and maintain readiness for our seasonal operations.

  • $16,000.00

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving guest experience at Camp Oshkidee, air conditioning has been installed in the Lodge building. This much-needed upgrade enhances comfort during the summer months, addressing long-standing issues with heat and humidity. As a central gathering space for programs and events, the Lodge will now provide a more welcoming and functional environment for guests, staff, and lease groups throughout the season.

  • $110,000.00

As part of the ongoing upgrades to our 50+ year-old facility, new doors and windows have been installed in the Chalet, cabins, and Lodge. These improvements are essential to enhancing the functionality, energy efficiency, and overall comfort of our buildings. In particular, the Chalet’s updated windows and doors significantly improve insulation and ventilation while also contributing to a refreshed and more welcoming appearance. These upgrades support the long-term sustainability of our site and ensure a better experience for all who stay at Camp Oshkidee.

  • TBD

As part of our continued efforts to care for and improve our 50+ year-old facility, plans are underway for a full remodel of the Chalet bathrooms. This project is currently in development and will focus on enhancing comfort, accessibility, and functionality for our campers and guests. Updated fixtures, improved layouts, and durable finishes are all part of the vision for creating a refreshed and welcoming space. Once completed, this renovation will not only improve the guest experience but also contribute to the long-term sustainability and hospitality of Camp Oshkidee’s ministry.

BE A BLESSING

For over 50 years, Camp Oshkidee has been a place where families grow in faith, strengthen relationships, and experience God’s presence together. Serve Weekends are a special part of that story—an opportunity to give back to the ministry that has blessed so many.

Every May and September long weekend, we invite our camp community to come together at the lake for a time of service, fellowship, and purpose. Through maintenance projects, organization, and repairs, we prepare the camp for another season of ministry and the families who will soon arrive to be refreshed and renewed.

There’s no cost to attend—a gesture of gratitude for your willingness to serve. Meals and accommodations are provided, and families are encouraged to serve side by side, growing together in faith and community as they work.

Your time and energy are a meaningful gift to this ministry, helping us continue to provide a place where lives are changed and God’s love is experienced in tangible ways.

SERVE

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to contain it.”
