FAMILY CAMP

Family Camp at Oshkidee is all about connecting with family and friends in Christian fellowship. We want to create space for fun and focus in on the strengthening of bonds, the building up of faith, and the renewing of spirits.

Join us for a relaxed week on the beautiful shores of Jeannette Lake, where families can create lasting memories and enjoy meaningful activities at a relaxing pace. Each day offers chapel, group gatherings, youth programs, water sports, and plenty of time to unwind, explore nature, or simply be together.

Meals are shared in our waterfront Chalet dining hall, while breakfast is yours to prepare whenever you like in our fully equipped Lodge kitchen. Comfortable cabins and lodge rooms offer a secluded space to rest and unwind after each day’s adventures.

From the playground and private beach to watercraft, sand sports, and campfires under the stars, there’s something for everyone to enjoy—whenever they want. And our treasured traditions, like themed banquet night and Klish-Ma-Klaver, create special moments that bring us closer together.

Whether you’re seeking to grow your family’s faith, enjoy fun and fellowship, or rest and recharge in God’s creation, Family Camp at Oshkidee welcomes you home!

LOGISTICS

  • FAMILY CAMP PROGRAM

    • WEEK A: July 5 - July 11

    • WEEK B: July 12 - July 18

    • WEEK C: July 19 - July 25

    • WEEK D: July 26 - August 1

    • WEEK E: August 2 - August 8

  • CAMPERS:

    • AGE 4+: $240 +GST

    • AGE 0-3: FREE

    ACCOMMODATIONS:

    • LOWER LODGE: $415 +GST

    • CABIN: $415 +GST

    • CAMPSITE: $275 +GST

  • Minimum 50% of fees are due upon receipt of registration confirmation.

    Any outstanding balance will be due in full June 1st.

    If we have not received payment in full by June 1st and no alternate arrangements have been made, your spot may be forfeited and given to a family from our wait list. In the event of forfeiture any amounts paid will be returned less a $100 processing fee.

  • Cancellations made prior to June 2nd will receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee.

    Late cancellations made between June 2nd - June 30th will receive a 50% refund unless their spot can be filled, in which case they will receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee.

    Late cancellations made on or after July 1st will be deemed a donation to the camp and will be receipted accordingly unless their spot can be filled, in which case they will receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee.

  • Everyone who attends family camp with you needs to be registered prior to camp starting.

    Guests of registered campers are welcome to visit under the following provisions:

    1. It is confirmed that there is available space and they have gained the permission from administration prior to the start of the camp week, so that proper preparations can be made. 

    2. The campers introduce the guests to the Director when they arrive and sign the hold harmless agreement before they may proceed.

    3. Guests will be allowed to stay one night, in the same accommodations as the campers, or other suitable accommodations as available for an additional fee.

    4. Host campers will ensure any meals or accommodations their guests partake in will be paid at the end of the week.

    5. Guests are reminded to please be sensitive to the activities of the camp and to participate in activities appropriately.

  • Family Camp is a shared community experience, and we love supporting connections between families while fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. You are invited to indicate one Buddy Family you’d like to attend camp with. To avoid confusion, they must also list your family as their Buddy Family on their form. All Buddy Family requests are considered as space allows, based on the order applications are received, with special consideration for first-time campers attending with friends. If attending together is a priority, we recommend providing a second-choice week to increase the likelihood of being placed together.
