SERVE SERVE

Serve Weekends at Oshkidee are an opportunity to give back to the ministry through the donation of your time, energy and skills!

Every May and September long weekend we invite the camp community to join us at the lake for a weekend of maintenance, organization + repairs to ensure that our facility is prepped and ready for another season of ministry.

There is no charge for attending a Serve Weekend; your meals + accommodations are complementary and your children are welcome to join you for this opportunity to serve and grow together!

  • THURSDAY MAY 14 2026 | Optional Early Access

    • 5pm: Our Serve Weekend officially kicks off Friday evening with Night Lunch. However, anyone who would like to get away a little earlier and enjoy extra time at the lake is welcome to arrive as early as Thursday evening after 5pm. Coming up early gives you the full day on Friday to relax and enjoy the lake before the weekend activities begin.

      Please note that if you choose to arrive early, you will be responsible for your own meals until the program officially starts Friday evening.

    SATURDAY MAY 16 2026 | Work Day

    • 8am: Breakfast served

    • 9am: Safety Meeting + Job Assignments

    • 12pm: Lunch served

    • 3pm: Coffee Break

    • 6pm: Supper served

    • 8pm: Night lunch served

    SUNDAY MAY 17 2026 | Day of Rest + Play / Optional Work Day

    • 10am: Breakfast served

    • 12pm: Lunch served

    • 3pm: Coffee Break

    • 6pm: Supper served

    • 8pm: Night lunch served

    MONDAY May 18 2026 | Departure Day

    • 10am: Brunch

    • 12pm: Departure

    • Installing / removing docks

    • Setting up / putting away patio furniture

    • Move + repair watercraft

    • Minor facility repairs

    • Inventory + organization

    • Window washing + carpet cleaning

    • Brush clearing + weed removal

    • and much more!
