klish·ma·kla·ver | \ ¦klishməˈklāvər, ¦klēsh- \
: to chew the fat or chat in a leisurely and prolonged way.
For us, the word “Klish” means so much more than just leisurely conversation - although we love a good bit of that too! But for those who have experienced it on site they can surely attest to the understanding that it goes much deeper than that. At Oshkidee, to experience Klish is to know and to be known.
Klish is an infinite circle of trust where campers can come together in both praise and prayer; to ask questions and share insights, and to connect in Christian fellowship as friends.
For many, Klish is considered the heartbeat of the camp; and so we invite you to step into this space open and ready to receive whatever the Lord may have for you today and to share your experience as part of the camp community with us.

      A Place of Rest
Camp Oshkidee is a little like a hammock. For first time users, it can be a little tricky finding your way into its unfamiliar form. We all kind of know how a hammock works, but until you've been in one, you don't really know what it's like nor how good it can feel. For many, once they become comfortable the hammock provides a warm embrace, comfort, and rest. Some find it so relaxing that they drift off to sleep, blissfully unaware of the noise and activity all around them.
